Vintage 80's Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock Formal Midi Dress Satin Shiny Royal Blue Bow 7/8 Prom Formal Evening Gown In the 1980s, fashion designer Jessica McClintock had a huge moment with her own line of formalwear. In particular, Gunne Sax prom dresses were the designer trend that reigned supreme on most prom queens of the decade. This elegant blue dress checks off all of the iconic 80's boxes; dropped waist, puffed sleeves with shoulder pads, large bow detailings on the front and back, featuring a flattering silhouette. The back of the dress is just as show-stopping as the front, with a large, gorgeous tear drop cutout across the back. Ruching at the sides, coordinates with ruching details on the 3/4 sleeves. Black crinoline for added fullness and fluff. Zippered opening with a button closure behind the neck bow on back. There are a few spots of discoloration on this beauty. There are some small darkened discolorations, as well as lightened discolorations, please see photos for close ups. Arm pits do have a slight discoloration, that didn't photograph well as they are minor. Back bow stitching is loose. Extremely RARE dress, in an absolutely beautiful color and harder to find size!
