80s Albert Nippon special occasion skirt and velvet jacket set screams Dallas/Dynasty era. The top jacket is black velvet with 3 large gold tone and black rhinestone offset buttons, a sweetheart neckline and slightly pin tucked padded shoulders . The buttons alone are a treasure. It has snap loops to hold your bra straps in place on the inside. Pair it together with the coordinating skirt or wear the pieces separately. The black skirt has a sleep gather at one hip making it appear as though it might be wrapped, but it’s not. It feels like Grossgrain ribbon material with metallic horizontal striping throughout. Side zip closure and there is a hook at the top, but the bar is missing. It could be easily added, but you don’t really see it with the jacket so that’s up to you. Both pieces are lined. Tricolor, union tag. The tag size is six and it is featured on my size medium dress form for scale. Laying flat the skirt measures 13 inches straight across the waist, but it is meant to be a little bit high waisted. 20 inches straight across the hip and 23 inches long. The jacket is 19 inches shoulder to him and 17 inches from armpit to armpit. 16 inches straight across the hem.
