Vintage 80's 90's HUGE Gold Tone Earrings for Pierced Ears

I don't remember if it was the late 80's or early 90's that I purchased these. Gold tone, I believe I put a clear coat of polish on them to protect the gold tone - which looked like it did the trick. Earrings aren't too heavy - they measure about 2.5 inches long.
