Vintage 8 inch brass bracelet

I am doing some work for a friend who is a jeweler. He has taken in items over the years as trades and it is time to sell. This piece came from a woman who worked in a high end retail store in NYC for decades. She traveled a lot. We assume this came from her travels. It is brass and has a very interesting design. It is 2.75 inches across. I measured around the opening and I am getting 8 inches. From the 50s - 60s.
