Sincerely breathtaking vintage early-1970s suede trench coat by Marquis of London, crafted in Canada from ultra-soft, velvety genuine suede in a rare rust / burnt-sienna tone. This is peak 1970–75 outerwear: sculpted, elegant.
The silhouette is everything. Princess-seamed bodice, sweeping A-line hem, elongated lapels, and a matching tie belt that cinches the waist beautifully. Covered buttons and deep side pockets add refinement, while the drape feels luxurious without heaviness.
Condition
Excellent vintage condition. Very minimal, expected wear to the suede. One small, subtle mark at the collar (pictured) that blends into the suede texture and is not noticeable when worn. Fully lined. No other notable flaws.
