Charming vintage German Zinnengel pewter decorative plate, featuring a wonderfully detailed embossed scene of two villagers resting outdoors beside a basket of harvest goods. The scalloped rim adds a classic European touch and makes it an excellent display piece for rustic, farmhouse, cottage, or Old World décor.
The embossed design is based on the oil painting Children Eating Grapes and a Melon by Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (circa 1645 - 1650).
This plate measures approximately 8.75" in diameter and 5/8" tall. The back is marked with the Zinnengel pewter hallmark, consistent with mid-century German pewter production. Ideal for wall display, cabinet decorating, or adding character to a themed collection.
This piece is in very good vintage condition with light expected wear from age and handling. A beautiful collectible pewter accent with timeless European charm.
