Hasn't tarnished in all these years. I believe it's Sterling Silver with a protective finish. * Vintage 70's * Necklace has a plain hook closure. * This is a small choker, see dimensions. * You could use a silver extension chain if the size is too small for you, not included. * Each shell will look different and have its own slight imperfections. * Boho, bohemian design * This was my Mother's. * I believe this was purchased in the in Baguio City, Philippines from the Silver mine there. We visited several times during 1972-1975 and my Mom always purchased jewelry. This may be a rare design. I've never seen it anywhere else. Size: Length of necklace: 14 1/4" Abalone width: 1" Abalone Length: 15/16", almost an inch. Color: Tan, silver. Depending on viewing angle, you see gray, pinks, green. Condition: Vintage 70s. EUC.
