These little earrings are vintage from the 60's before I got my ears pierced,so they are clip-on style & never worn,so in NEW condition. They turn fire 🔥 red when light flashes on them & have bluish-purple,irredescent,tones, somewhat similar to opals. Update: I took them to a jeweler & I was told that the backs are sterling silver plated. Smoke free home.

blazergonian @1stchimera I don't know, as I was just a girl & it was a long time ago, but they were purchased from a jewelry store as a gift for me & whatever type of metal it is has never tarnished & held up quite well in the box for a very long time.
