Vintage 60s dark purple lambswool sweater vest cable knit front pockets size M

Vintage 100% lambswool sweater vest from the 60s era. Dark purple cable knit, buttons up the front and has two front pockets. I did see a small hole in the back, as pictured, otherwise in great condition. The size says a 38, it looks like a modern M please refer to pics for measurements.
