Beautiful late-1960s handcrafted patchwork velvet quilt + matching pillow sham, made from richly colored burnout velvets imported from India during the boho/psychedelic décor era (1969–1973). This coordinated set is extremely rare, especially in matching patterns and colors.
The quilt is a lap-size throw, perfect for couches, reading chairs, meditation areas, daybeds, or wall display. The sham is handmade patchwork in complementary burnout velvet squares with cotton muslin lining. These textiles were originally sold through boho import boutiques and artisan Indian textile exporters in the late ’60s/early ’70s.
