Vintage 50s Valentine Doll Co. 18" Aida Ballerina *STICKY FACE*

18-inch doll marked on head 18VW. Vinyl head which has become sticky over the years as the vinyl degrades. From a distance, she looks great, but be aware when storing her. Hard plastic body, arms, and legs. Jointed arms and legs. Closed mouth, blue sleep eyes, red lipstick and rouge. Flowers in reddish-brown hair. Pearl earrings. Pink bodice with silver straps and braids with clear sequins across the top. White tulle skirt with pink braid and clear sequins around hem. Individually moulded fingers, muscular thighs. Hose. Ballet slippers (and possibly panties) have been replaced by a previous owner. My mother purchased doll at a show in Williamsburg, VA, in 1998. No hang tag or box, but she will be shipped securely.
