@jackieamanda Good evening... no, it really isn't itchy. It's lined with polyester. The exterior is a soft velvet... I honestly was surprised to see that it has a good percentage of wool. Thanks for your interest... It's an unusual style... very 50s....

@jackieamanda Oh dear... I do feel foolish... No wool at all... I was mistakenly looking at the wrong content label... which I removed from the listing... I have a 78 year old brain... it likes to make me goofy sometimes... Not itchy... no wool. :)
