Vintage 50's Purple Quilted Full Circle Skirt, Rockabilly Swing Pin Up Sock Hop

Super fun vintage full circle skirt. Purple quilted fabric with dark swirly design. Black velvet band at waist with two hook and eyes for closure. On both sides there is an opening (what would look like a pocket opening) with three button holes on each side of the opening. I am not really sure what this is but must have had a ribbon and laced up for looks only (the skirt is not adjustable - it is a solid velvet band until the hook and eye.) It would look super cute with a black velvet bow laced up on each side! * stain on inside by seam, some threads from the quilting are loose, rip/cut about an inch long about 7 inches below the waist band either in front or back (I don't know which is front and back) I think it could be easily repaired as the material is so busy and full not seen. laying flat in approx in - S?? waist 13.5 length 32.5 x bottom 44
