Vintage 50s Navy Blue Satin Dress Lace Skirt Young Viewpoint NY sz 10

This pretty navy blue satin and lace dress was made by Young Viewpoint for the Meier & Frank Department store, most likely in the late 1940s-1950s. It has a square neckline with pleats at the side that become a collar in the front and end in points in the back, and a lace overlay on the skirt. Dolman sleeves. Zipper up the side. There are loops for a belt at the waist seam. No size tag, but it fits like a modern size 10 at the waist. Fitted at the waist, looser in the top. See measurements below. Waist 34" Length 47" In excellent vintage condition, with no holes or stains. Has a slight "vintage" smell from being kept in storage.
