Vintage 50’s Elephant Lapel Pin copper or brass ?

Part of a personal family estate. Card has some water damage, no damage to pin or tag. I do not know metal. I would suspect copper. Could be brass or copper, or anything! No markings or branding are present. It is a lovely and detailed pin. Wear as animal lover or as GOP pin. Loveman’s of Nashville was closed in 1961. This date is in line to when it was likely purchased in the 1940s or 1950s
