Vintage 40s or 50s Beaded, Crocheted Handbag, With Authentic Era Accessories

I believe this little navy blue vintage bag is from the fifties, but it could be from the forties, and for authenticity, it contains an authentic era rain hat, and a little square mirror! The base is 8" long, 4.5" wide, the body is 7" tall to the drawstring, 8" to the top of the stripe. It has a plastic bottom, and the bag is crocheted onto holes around the edge of the bottom. There are two silver metallic stripes crocheted into the body, it closes with blue drawstrings that have Western style silver metal tips, and the opening at the top is finished with a stripe of silver metallic cord. The main body is crocheted out of a navy blue cord that looks like it should stretch, but it doesn't. There are red, white, and blue plastic beads woven into the silver stripes. To be honest, it is kind of "cheap" looking, but that is sort of typical of fifties things! It is in clean, usable condition, perfect for a Fourth of July picnic! The bottom has some superficial scratches, just normal wear, not bad.
