This framed vintage wood three-dimensional diorama is so darn adorable … and beautiful! Hand Carved & Hand Painted, circa 1940s - 60s. It’s got amazing detail, depth, texture and gorgeous colors—aged wood patina contrasted with the blue-green water scene. The rustic antique room includes a dining table complete with meal and chairs, brick fireplace with bucket and tools, and a picture window featuring a beautiful water landscape in blues and greens (the mechanism in back allows you to slide an alternate picture in, if desired). Note other details depicted, e.g., the entry door, a wall clock, shelves with decor, and a green lantern.
Such a delightful piece that would be charming on a picture wall with other vintage or eclectic pieces. Ready to hang with hook in back.!
SIZE: Measures 12 5/8” W by just over 10 1/8” by 2” deep.
CONDITION: Overall excellent vintage condition with some of the expected signs of age and wear as shown in photos. I can see that the “light fixture” has lost a tiny bit of wood, but seems secure. Some wear on the frame (can be retouched if desired), a spot on upper left of the water scene, some other tiny spots on walls. All add to the charm. Does not appear to missing anything!

Oh my goodness, I’ve never seen one of these! This is one of those pieces that instantly makes me want to jump into the mind of the artist during their time period
