Vintage 30s James Sadler Gilt Gold Cream Candy Stripe Swirl Covered Teapot England The style of marking on base dates this to circa late 1930s. The pattern is widely known as "Candy Stripe" and is done in metallic gilt stripes on a cream base. It has a "D" style lid that keeps it in place while serving. This is pre-owned but with original label still intact. There is some discoloration inside at the bottom but we do not know if that is from use or age.
