Vintage 24k gold plated and black enamel Damascene bracelet. Intricate inlay scenes of bird and flower motifs. Includes a safety chain and box clasp where the tab is pushed in for closure. The name comes from Damascus Syria, where this craft originated. The art form was developed in Toledo, Spain. The diameter open is 3 inches. The diameter closed is approx 2.5 inches. 15.6 grams. Some minor discoloration on the inside from wear. Overall, it is in great vintage condition.
