Vintage 24k Gold Floral Tea Cup and Saucer

Elegant teacup featuring a vibrant floral design with gold trim. Perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to your tea time. The saucer is not a match exactly to the cup but it is a close enough design to where you wouldn’t know they don’t go together! Rare teacup is from The Melba China Co. This company operated from the 1940s to 1950s in England but the mark with a crown was used earlier, from 1907 to 1941. The cup is 2x 3 inches, the plate is 4.5 by 4.5 inches. The rim is gold plated and only shows slight ware. Beautiful addition to your tea cup collection! Teacup is Melba bone china and the saucer is Saji China made in Japan. Both are pre 1940s.
