Vintage 1997 Versace Versus Black Leather Bandeau Mini Dress

Super rare Versace Versus dress. This secondary line created by Gianni Versace was known for its rock-chic style and this dress epitomizes that spirit. It captures the innovation and unconventionality that Versace strived for in this line. The dress consists of two pieces: a buttery soft leather bandeau and a single strap stretch mini-dress. The dress has never been worn and is in excellent condition. The bandeau is designed for a small bust, ideally an A cup or small B and has a size zipper. Dress size is 28/42; fabric has two-way stretch providing some flexibility in sizing. Similar dress (see photo) with strap on bandeau and wider shoulder strap on dress was featured in Vogue magazine in 1997 (note the dress for sale, as delivered from manufacturer, has no bandeau strap and a thin shoulder strap on dress). Made in Italy. Dress fiber content: 89% polyamide, 11% elastan-spandex. Bandeau is 100% leather with lining of 100% viscose-rayon.
