Plate block of 20 vintage 1982 USPS multi-color 20-cent commemorative stamps. Mint/Never hinged. Full original gummed back.  This vintage Christmas postage stamp features a painting of the Madonna and Child by the artist Giovanni Battista Tiepolo. In this image, Mary cradles Jesus with both hands, and he holds her mantle in one hand and a goldfinch, symbolizing his coming death, in the other hand. The original 18th-century masterpiece currently hangs in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
