Vintage 1980’s Hand-Carved Ornate Ostrich & Duck Eggs on Decorative Pedestal

Beautiful and ornate vintage 1980s hand carved Ostrich egg and duck egg on a decorative pedestal Love and wedding theme One of a kind, unique design hand carved and gifted to me in the 1980s by a family member that had her own egg-carving and art studio The 4“ x 6“ ostrich egg is hand carved and embellished with gold tone, jewel tone and pearlized embellishments, including ribbon, leaf, flower and butterfly details and beads Inside the ostrich egg hangs a carved duck egg measuring approximately 2 1/2 x 2“ Inside the duck egg are two lovebirds in their nest made of thin, gold color metal strings with small beaded flowers The eggs set a top a gold-tone pedestal with bead and ribbon details This is then affixed to a walnut color 7 inch diameter base You can add your own glass cloche i.e. cover if desired. The one that I had was cracked and will not be included here The egg surface has a beautiful luminous finish with a slight sheen This is a one of a kind vintage piece. The unit stands approximately 11 inches high, including base and the base as described has a 7 inch diameter.
