Vintage 1980s 1990s Louis Feraud Houndstooth Knee Length Skirt Small/Medium

Black and cream/off white fabric with colorful specks of: pink, purple, teal, red, yellow, blue, green, orange 1.5” Waistband 3 7/8” vent at back hem Partial zipper & black Louis Feraud stamped button on waist Lined in black fabric Tags say: Louis Feraud, US size 10 (please see measurements it is NOT a modern size 10). Fabric is a little nubby from extra colors, and is not heavy. There may be some wool in it due to the slight fuzziness/pilling of the black threads, may also be some cotton/silk/other natural fiber in it as well. It looks/feels like really nice fabric, but there isn’t a label to tell me what it is. Skirt is in good vintage condition. It may have been let out a bit at the waist, as inside of waistband appears to have an extension in black fabric (see photo). This doesn’t show on the outside/when worn, only inside. There is one area that shows some strain to the lining only, right below the zipper; and there are a couple missing stitches to the lining only at the top of the hem vent. Neither are seen when worn. Some minor pilling that you may be able to shave off if it bothers you. It’s not perfect and is priced accordingly, but overall it’s a gorgeous skirt and it looks great on! Measurements are taken with the garment lying flat and doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garment itself, so please be sure to leave room for your body and movement as fabric is NOT stretchy! Waist: 27.5’ Hips: 37” Overall length from top of waistband to hem: 23.5”
