This is a rare and vintage commemorative brass belt buckle from Pullman Kellogg. The front of the buckle features a detailed relief of a construction scene, including what appears to be a refinery or petrochemical plant with a "SHELL" logo, a cement mixer truck, and a large crane. The bottom of the buckle is inscribed with "1,000,000 SAFE MANHOURS" to recognize a significant safety milestone. The top of the buckle is stamped with the company name, "Pullman Kellogg."
The back of the buckle is marked "SAFE WORKER" and the dates "Dec. 79 - Mar. 80."
This is a great piece of industrial history and a unique collectible for anyone interested in construction, petrochemicals, or vintage corporate memorabilia. The buckle shows some signs of wear and patina consistent with its age, adding to its authentic vintage character. It comes in its original box.
