Vintage 1970s Sears Gingham Sleeveless Painter's Smock-Style Button-Front Blouse

This lightweight sleeveless button-front blouse by Sears was made in the 1970s of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. It has oversized square pockets on the front and features a pink and white gingham print. Because it's kind of loose-fit and has the oversized front pockets, it reminds me of the painter's smocks we wore in elementary school when we painted. It's in excellent vintage condition with no flaws anywhere. It's listed as a size 44. I'm not sure what size that translates to. One online search says it may be a size 12 or 14. In any case, the blouse seems to me like a loose-fit Large or maybe less-loose Extra Large. Please review the below measurements carefully to ensure it's a good fit for you.
