This is an original 1970s Seagrams 7 Crown Whiskey promotional pin styled as a vintage political button. Featuring President Calvin Coolidge with the slogan Deeds Not Words, the pin cleverly mimics Prohibition era campaign memorabilia , but with a whiskey loving twist.
Despite the 1920s imagery, this pin was part of a Seagrams marketing campaign in the 1970s, capitalizing on nostalgia and irony. Coolidge, a real life supporter of Prohibition, is humorously featured on a whiskey ad during a time when 7 Crown was booming in popularity.
