These spools measures 6.5" around darker brown has 1.5" deep wrapped tightly around spool, The spool read 20 yards, there is almost this much, if not 20 yds. Much less of the light brown. lighter brown 5/8" deep around spool Heavy woven scratchy trim. Feels and looks like the upholstery from my grandma's 1970's plaid couch!
