Vintage 1970's John Hayles Silk Jacket / Dress / long Blazer - XS

John Hayles Silk Jacket Dress XS. John Hayles was a costume designer in Hollywood - his pieces are rare. This has no size or fabric tags but it looks and feels like slubbed silk on the outside and regular silk for the lining. The body of the is completely lined but the sleeves are not.  Features: Huge dagger collar. Batwing sleeves that are gathered at the shoulder. They are 3/4 length, not full length, and have fitted cuffs that button. Wide fitted waist with little triangular points where it buttons.   No missing buttons.  2 slit pockets at the hip level in front. impeccable tailoring. Jacket dress is in excellent vintage condition overall, but not perfect.  The issues are tiny. There’s a few tiny round holes ( I took close ups ) They are in the back of one sleeve & in the front near the other sleeve. There is also one inside the collar, but you cannot see when wearing because it is inside the neck.   The holes in the sleeves are about the size of a pinhead, and do not detract. There is a little bit of dirt near the bottom where the button holes are. --- M E A S U R E M E N T S --- Fits like a extra small - perhaps a size 0 or 2.   Bust: 32"   My mannequin has a 35 inch but and as you can see,   I couldn't get this buttoned on her.  Waist: 26" Hip: 34" Length: 39" Shoulder: 12"
