I’ll just come right out and say it, I’m a little mad at you , whoever you are that is lucky enough to snag these bodacious vintage velvet bells. I have loved them so dearly and tried to think of a way that I could make them fit me without messing up the shape (Spoiler, I can’t) and I have finally come to terms with the fact that they are ready for someone new to love them. I am always super real on this page about sizing because I want the right person to match with my treasures (like it’s a dating show LOL) The ideal new owner of these truly spectacular strut the town slacks, is someone 5’4 (with heels)- 5’7” (no heels needed) and 115-125 lbs. The ultra flattering high waist is also ultra petit. Alex Colman is pretty legendary in vintage fashion, and these were made either late 1960’s or early 1970’s. The crushed velvet is in fantastic condition. There are two spots on the hips where the hanger dug into the fabric, and I’m fairly certain this will relax out- but if it doesn’t, it’s not that noticeable (pictured) On the left hip, there was a funky outside tag that distracted from the beauty of the pants so I cut it off but you can see a little remnant (pictured) Other than those very minor flaws, they are so primo! I got endless compliments on these and you will too! There’s no size or fabric tags but I’d call these XS and the velvet is high quality.
