Pattern ID Details
Madrid Pattern (Federal Glass, 1932–1939)
Produced by Federal Glass Company. Has a geometric diamond and scroll motif in the center, framed by delicate floral swirls and arches — exactly like what’s on your plates. The outer edge often features a squared shape with gentle scalloping. Typically found in amber (most common), clear, pink, and green.
Patrician Pattern (Federal Glass, 1933–1937)
Also called “Spoke.” Has a large central medallion with radiating lines (“spokes”) and small floral flourishes - very different symmetry. Usually round, not square, and lacks the Madrid’s layered scrollwork.
