Vintage 1970 Bing & Grondahl Annual Christmas Plate The Royal Palace Amalienborg

Bing & Grondahl 1970 Christmas Jubilee plate, titled "The Royal Palace Amalienborg" This collectible, annual plate was made in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl (B&G) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the first B&G Christmas plate in 1895. The motif on the plate is the same as the one used for the 1914 B&G Christmas plate. Text reads "1895 JULE-AFTNE 1970" which translates to 1895 Christmas Eve 1970. The plate measures approximately 9" in diameter. There are holes on the back for hanging. Marked on the back: B&G Kjobenhavn Denmark 8000/9170 Amalienborg The Royal Palace No chips or cracks.
