Original vintage US Navy flight jacket dated 1966, likely a G-1 intermediate leather model, featuring punched-out "USN" stenciling near the zipper and the name "WOGMAN" hand-punched across the back of the collar. This jacket was owned by Vincent E. Wogman, a documented WWII and Korean War veteran born in 1921. He served in the U.S. Navy and was laid to rest in 2003. While the jacket itself was issued post-WWII (1966), it may have been used during his extended service or retained as personal gear, adding strong provenance and military history value.
The jacket is constructed from genuine leather with a vintage patina, military-grade hardware, and details consistent with mid-60s Navy flight gear. Condition is good for its age, with typical signs of wear from use and storage. Lining intact unless otherwise noted. Please refer to photos for exact condition and details.
A highly collectible piece of U.S. military aviation history, especially valuable due to its clear personalization and traceable veteran connection.
