This teapot and matching cups are in near-perfect condition, which is amazing when you consider that they were made and painted in 1966! They were all painted, signed, and dated by H. Mullins. The porcelain pieces were made in Germany, but it is unknown where they were painted.
The teapot and three cups feature white roses, while the fourth cup features acorns. Each cup has a different color on the handle, which adds interest and beauty to the set. The silhouette is classical Mid-Century Modern, which blends beautifully with the more classical floral theme that reflects Victorian and Aesthetic ideals.
I was only able to find one very small chip on the bottom of one cup. The upper rims of the cups and teapot, as well as the edges of the spot and lid, are all free of chips.
This is truly an amazing set. These would also be amazing on a shelf as display pieces.
