Product Description: This is a vintage scalloped bowl, hand-carved from Suar wood, also commonly known as Monkey Pod wood. The bowl has a beautiful natural wood grain with a rich color variation, ranging from light golden tones to a deep reddish-brown. The edge of the bowl is intentionally scalloped to create a wavy, organic shape. The bottom of the bowl is marked with a stamp that reads "MADE IN PHILIPPINES" and a handwritten "Kama'ain wood." This piece is a classic example of handcrafted wooden items from the mid-20th century.
