Fabulous vintage early 1960’s rainbow stripe cotton dress by Simpli-Smart by Simplicity. This dress is over 50 years old and is rare unworn new-old-stock! This adorable dress has a fun, flirty attitude and retro summertime vibes. Classic, flattering early 1960’s nipped-in waist with original belt and gathered full skirt with hand-sewn whipstitched hem. Breezy sleeveless v-neck bodice features 4 darling white buttons and coordinating purple trim. Constructed of unlined, lightweight cotton perfect for warm weather days. Dress closes with 2 white front buttons (other 2 buttons are decorative) and 3 hidden snaps: 2 at waist and 1 at bodice Has original hangtag, matching belt Excellent, unworn condition. Dress was stored in a warehouse for over 50 years. So the dress would be fresh and ready-to-wear for its new owner, we gently hand-washed this garment and reattached the original paper hangtag. The only signs of age are fraying to the inner brand fabric label and light belt creases.
