Vintage Shadowline Mint Green Lace House Gown/Peignoir Size M Oh so lovely! Sweet, elegant with a hint of sexy. Peignoirs were the light (usually sheer and with lace embellishment) gowns worn over a night gown by women in the fifties and sixties. Much how we throw a fluffy robe over our pajamas now, ladies back then would wear this much more elegant style over their night gowns before retiring to bed. In a light shade of mint green, and is a satin-like fabric. Very cool and light to the touch. This listing is just for the peignoir, the matching night gown was missing. This could still be worn as a night gown by itself though. In excellent condition! I see little to no wear on this garment except for the tag partially wearing off in the wash. All garments come from a smoke-free home and are either laundered or steam cleaned. Any flaws or damage will be photographed and noted in the description of my listings.
