Vintage 1960s Poole Pottery England Signed Matte Black With Drip Glaze 10" Vase This beautiful piece of history has the dolphin cartouche this studio has been known for since the symbol's introduction in 1952. It also carries the artist's mark in white. The vase has a striking matte black base dotted with stunning shiny orange/red drips of glaze in an abstract design. The vase is just over 10" tall and the opening is 5 1/2" wide. Founded in England in 1973, Poole Pottery went through "reorganization" in the 2000s and emerged under the control of Lifestyle Group Ltd.
