Vintage 1960's Pomander Pendant Gold Tone Fluted Hollow Cage Sphere Ball

Really interesting piece! From my research, these were used on different pieces in the 60's. You can't really see it in the pics, but inside is a fluffy ball that almost looks like a white pom pom. I'm not sure if it was meant to be a pomander, but it would be perfect to use as one! You could drip some drops of your favorite essential oil or your favorite perfume fragrance inside, and it would hold the scent and vent out through the holes. Pretty design in a gold tone.
