Vintage 1970s Quilt Block Dresden Plate Applique Hand Stitched 12" Condition: Good vintage condition. No major flaws. Light signs of age with some gentle fabric irregularities as shown in closeups. All applique and stitching is intact and secure. This is a single quilt block featuring a classic Dresden Plate flower pattern made with authentic 1970s printed cotton fabrics in a variety of cheerful, multi-color prints including florals, geometric, and novelty motifs. All edges are finished with hand-sewn blanket stitch using black thread. The block is hand-appliqued to a natural muslin backing. Back of the block is visible and craftsmanship can be seen in the reverse photo. Measures approximately 12 x 12 inches square (see photos with rulers for scale).
