Vintage 1960's Culver Glass 22K Gold Embossed Cheese/Serving Plate, 11”

This is a stunning MCM 11” vintage Culver cheese or serving tray. The tray features a decorative gold floral pattern and a central section for a dip bowl. Culver is a brand known for its glassware with 22-karat gold decoration. The tray is from the mid-20th century, notably the 1960s. This is in great condition. Still so beautiful and reminiscent of the classic Culver gold decor. The tray did have a full gold trim but it has faded in most of the trim, as pictured. Some fading is quite normal for a piece at this age, especially on the trim which is where the dish is so often handled. I’ve featured a handful of pics so you can see the trim up close. The gold pattern is just stunning. I held it up to light so you can see where there has been some fading of the motifs, but not very much thankfully. I circled in blue in one photo where “Culver LTD” was and can be seen very faintly. Like I said, condition is great. No cracks, chips or scratches. See all photos for details. This would look great on a stand like I have pictured just for decoration in a cabinet. It’s so pretty. No matter what you do with it! Note: any red that appears on the dish is from the reflection from the sun.
