Vintage 1960s Contessa Sleeveless Shift Sheath Dress, Size Small, Blue Green Abstract Psychedelic Print Fun 1960s party dress / cocktail dress by Contessa. Shift / sheath style Sleeveless Knee length Lined Talon zipper back Fun abstract psychedelic print in shades of green, blue, cream, white. No fabric tag. Contessa often used what they called their "whipped cream" fabric, which was a light polyester. Contessa "The Best of Everything" Tagged size 12 (VINTAGE SIZING). Please note measurements. Estimated to be a size small. The dress is a little snug on my size 6 dress form but does zip up (dress form is a vintage 14, equivalent to a modern day 4/6). Approx. 17 1/2" armpit to armpit x 17" across waist x 39 1/2" long shoulder to hem. Measured flat. There is no stretch to the fabric. A few spots and loose threads.
