Vintage 1960s Beaded Sequined Silk Floral Wiggle Dress Yellow Orange Green belt

1960s sleeveless wiggle dress in painterly yellow, orange, and green floral silk with iridescent sequins throughout. Flat measurements are approximately: bust 16 inches, waist 12 inches, hips 17 inches, shoulder to waist 14.5 inches, total length 37 inches. It includes a matching fabric belt with a series of hooks and snaps, but one of the corresponding snaps on the dress was likely removed when the dress was taken in. You can see evidence of the alteration in the inside-out photos. Once you try on the dress you can choose where you want the snap to be to hold the belt in place The dress has a metal zipper closure in the back and appears to be entirely handmade. It apoears to have been painstakingly and extensively taken in No maker label, but has vintage construction details consistent with 1950s-early 1960s formalwear. ************ Over the next few weeks I will put up for sale a few dozen 1950’s-1960’s formal and cocktail dresses purchased from the sadly defunct legendary legacy Hollywood movie costume rental company CRC. This dress was likely used for stage or screen production.
