Vintage 1960 Thermos Red Black Plaid Outing Kit Historical 10,000,000 Man Hours

The classic Thermos brand red and black plaid thermos and canvas picnic tote. This is a vintage 1960 piece of Americana with historical significance! Given by the Dow Chemical Co. as a gift to commemorate a safety milestone: 10,000,000 man hours of operation without incident at the Rocky Flats Plant. This declaration is engraved on the silver zipper pull with the plant logo on the other side. This kit originally came with a collection of picnic supplies, however the only remaining piece in this tote is the iconic red plaid thermos. The thermos is totally intact with a couple scrapes. The bag looks amazing on the outside with a bit of cracking to the lining. It even still has the original manufacturer hang tag! This set would make such an adorable display with your vintage classic car or camper at a show!
