Restaurant ware creamer from the Bay State Raceway (aka Foxboro Raceway), Foxboro, Massachusetts.
The creamer is date coded for 1960, Jackson China Falls Creek PA.
The Bay State Raceway opened in 1947 and operated for some fifty years (the name later changing to New England Harness Raceway and Foxboro Raceway) before finally closing for good in 1997. The facilities were later razed to make way for Gillette Stadium.
The creamer is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The inside is clean with no stains. There is a speckle of black that was fired into the inside rim of the creamer. It is from manufacturing and doesn't affect the presentation nor use of the creamer.
It measures 2 3/4 inches tall and 2 1/4 inch wide at the top.
What a great find from an era gone by.
