Vintage 1958 first edition (book club edition) “Maggie-Now” by Betty Smith (also author of A Tree Grows In Brooklyn). This is a hardcover book with dust jacket. The story is set in old immigrant Brooklyn and follows several protagonists, the most key of which is Maggie-Now. The trial and tribulations of life and the dance of the givers vs. the takers. Size: 437 pages. 8.5” x 5.75” x 1.25” Condition: Main book in very good vintage condition (has a paper scrape inside front cover (seen in video). Pages are crisp, legible and mildly and evenly toned.
