Vintage 1953 Ohio Sesquicentennial Bronze Medal

Vintage Ohio sesquicentennial medal. From 1953, made of solid bronze. 2 3/4 inches diameter, 1/8 inch thick. Made by Medallic Art Co. in NY. Marked on the edge, also marked bronze. Design by artist E. Frey, marked on back border design. Front says " 103 Ohio Sesquicentennial 1953" along top edge, and "agriculture, education, industry" along bottom edge. 2nd row of words says " farming, manufacturing, mining, merchandising". Figures in center with "readin', ritin', 'rithmetic" under them. Back has state with "Commemorative Medal Ohio, March 1, 1953". Around the outside it has the state house and images depicting industry, manufacturing, and farming. Like new condition in original box with original cotton padding.
