Vintage 1952 Singer Blind Stitch Attachment No. 160161 low shank

This is a vintage Singer blind stitch attachment no. 1601616. It comes with the original box and the wrong manual, which is copyrighted 1952. The manual is for a 160742. There is also a knob that was found in the box. All parts have signs of age and wear, but they are in otherwise great shape. I tried to use this with my antique Singer 28, but I could not figure out how to use it. So, I am not sure if it is in working condition. Box is about 4.75in x 2.75in x 1.25in
