***This is a vintage 1950s or 60s tapestry bag that has many special features: Tag which reads "Made in Italy" Wooden top handle Cherub and floral tapestry Gold chain embellishments Note saying "Mama's pocketbook" Embellished trim on interior Interior zip pocket ***Approximate measurements: 13"L x 9"W x 2.5"D Handle drop: 3" The closure is a push-out mechanism that sort of snaps shut.  Very secure. ***Condition: There is staining on the exterior and interior.  The stains on outside blend in with the design, but the inside stains are more apparent.  Next to the interior stain there are some small holes/rough areas.
