Vintage 1950s Whirley Push Button Salt Pepper Shaker Avocado Green MCM

Vintage Whirley Industries push-button salt and pepper shaker, made in Warren, Pennsylvania, USA. Avocado green plastic base with two clear vertical chambers and contrasting black and white push buttons on top. Marked on the underside with WHIRLEY INDUSTRIES, WARREN, PENNA, U.S.A. and Des. Pat. No. 169,526. Classic mid-century modern design that dispenses salt or pepper when you press the corresponding button. Measures about 3" wide by 2.5" tall, a compact size for table use or display with other MCM kitchenware and Whirley collectibles. No chips or cracks noted.
